Stock Market Portfolio Optimization

In 2016, 56% of Americans had less than $10,000 saved for retirement, a number far below the amount needed to cover their expenses after they are no longer working. The goal of this project is to enable people to confidently invest their money for retirement. This is done with machine learning technology that evaluates a company’s market value based off its historical financial data and sentiment polarity in articles published by the New York Times. The result is a method that can predict if the value of a company will see long term growth
