ASCE Concrete Canoe Construction and Competition

The Concrete Canoe competition consists of student-led university teams who design, construct, present, and race a full-size canoe made of lightweight concrete. The ASU ASCE Concrete Canoe team will work for the semester to construct the canoe using the previously researched mix design. The team will then present and race the canoe in competition. The team will use their canoe prototype and technical proposal to present to a panel of judges as a response to the ASCE Concrete Canoe Committee’s call for proposals for a standardized canoe design for future years.
