Virtual Reality (VR) for Rehabilitation Therapy of Stroke Parkinson’s Disease and Athlete Patients

The objective of this research project is to collect and display data through a virtual reality experience that will help patients and general users determine if they are walking correctly while being engaged in a fun environment. Progress has been made toward creating the virtual environment in which the user will be participating. Also, the user will be more engaged with the data, which will eliminate needing to be monitored by an individual to see if they are walking correctly. Future work entails data retrieval from the smart shoes which will be displayed in the HTC Vive.
